National Stroke Awareness Day was proclaimed in 1989 by President George H. W. Bush. It had been observed for many years before the proclamation. One of their biggest campaigns is FAST, teaching the world to know the symptoms of a stroke and how to respond quickly to help save a life.

Appointments are limited so please call 203-797-4460, ext. 4447 to reserve a time.
Protect our kids, families and environment by properly disposing of your
unwanted and expired medicines. Medicines in the home are a leading cause
of accidental poisoning and flushed or trashed medicines can end up polluting
our waters. Rates of prescription drug abuse are alarmingly high – over half of
teens abusing medicines get them from a family member or friend, including
the home medicine cabinet, and often without their knowledge.
It’s a great time to clean out your medicine cabinet!
Items/Drugs Not Accepted:
Sharps/Needles/Syringes
Any Chemotherapeutic (Cytotoxic/Antineoplastic Drugs)
