A low impact aerobic fitness class that is great for cardiovascular health. Strength training and abdominal work are added to this class for a total body workout. A chair and weights are needed. Open to those age 60 plus. You must be a member of the Elmwood Hall – Danbury Senior Center. Membership is free. Email Susan Tomanio for more information and to sign up. This commemorative program honors Rosa Parks who, on December 1st 1955, boarded a bus in Montgomery Alabama and refused to give up her seat to white passengers after the bus became full. Arrested and found guilty on December 5th 1955, this incident triggered the Montgomery Bus Boycott organized by Martin Luther King Jr. and remains a seminal event of the Civil Rights Movement.
