Open to all Danbury residents 60 and up, this Grab and Go lunch is provided as a replacement for the congregate meal served at the Senior Center before COVID19. The program provides 4 lunches per week, with pick up on Mondays and Wednesdays at 9:00am – 10:00am. The cost per lunch is a $3 donation. Please call the Senior Center to sign up for this program.
Tai Chi at Elmwood Hall is based on the work of Dr. Fuzhong Li, Ph.d, a leading tai chi researcher. Taught by Susan Bradley, who is certified in the Yang style Dr. Li teaches, this class is proven to help reduce stress and improve concentration, balance, strength, and flexibility. This is a combination of gentle movements that exercise both the mind and body that causes minimal strain. Ideal for all fitness levels, beginners welcomed. Cost is $2.

Line dancing is a great way to exercise, improve your coordination, share a laugh with friends and have fun. Taught by popular line dance teacher Jill Weiss, come and enjoy the latest line dances as well as the classic old favorites. Beginners welcomed. Cost is $2.

Walking is the easiest and safest exercise. Grab your sneakers and join our walking club.
Beginning on Monday, January 3, 2022 we will meet at the Danbury Fair Mall (parking lot in front by LL Bean/Cheesecake Factory area) for 9:00am and continue our walking program inside the Mall. We have been so fortunate to have been outdoors as long as we have, however, it is time to move indoors. Masks will be required.
