We are having Dr. Edward Markowitz speak on several topics (Healthy Eating for Life; Live a More Pain Free Life; and Stay Sharp Mentally) in late July and August. Dr. Markowitz is a certified Wellness Professional and has been in practice for 37 years. The programs are on Friday afternoons July 21, Aug 18, Aug 25, at 1:00pm.
The Danbury Westerners are a collegiate summer baseball team based in Danbury. The team, a member of the New England Collegiate Baseball League, plays their home games at Rogers Park. Sign up is required, as all those who attend will receive a free ticket to the Westerners game that evening. This program is sponsored by the Danbury Commission on Aging.
