We’re hosting a workshop called Building a creative community one project at a time at the Danbury Museum & Historical Society, located at 43 Main Street, Danbury, CT 06810. This is a collaborative project with DECD CT Office of the Arts and the AIR Institute.
Here is an exciting chance to be a part of creating an art-based project that is impactful. Imagine being part of something bigger and creative for our beautiful Danbury community. If you’re outside Danbury, collaborate with us! Every project has a one-year timeline and a budget under $10,000. It’s not just about creating art; it’s about building better and more vibrant together.

The Danbury Senior Center is please to host the AARP Safe Driver Course. In this four hour course you will
- Learn about skills and strategies you can use on the road every day
- Discover defensive driving techniques to help you deal with aggressive drivers
- Explore local laws and traffic rules for drivers
- Get tips for proper maintenance of your vehicle so it’s safe before you drive
This course is open to the public. You must be 50+ to participate.
This course is $20 for AARP Members and $25 for Non-Members. Payment accepted via check made out to AARP.
Registration required. Registration closes January 31st.
