Stacey McIvor, Occupational Therapist from Restore Mobile Therapy, will be presenting adaptive equipment and home modification equipment to help you age in place. Whether you are thinking about adapting your bathroom, having increasing difficulty getting in and out of the shower or getting in and out of bed, Stacey will share a variety of solutions on how to age in place, maintaining your independence as you age. She will also discuss simple tips and tricks on how to reduce your risk of falls. Sign up required.
Join Matt Austin as he gives a talk on the life and legacy of one of the greatest comedians of all time. From her radio days to her groundbreaking sitcom to becoming the first female head of a major studio, there is so much more to America’s favorite red-head. While you may know Matt as the program coordinator, he has an extensive background in the arts and comedy. Trained in NYC by the Upright Citizen’s Brigade Comedy School, he has been teaching and performing Improv Comedy for the last 20 years. He currently performs with Sea Tea Comedy in Hartford and with their international touring company. He is also the Comedy Education Director at The Ridgefield Theater Barn.
