Buster Keaton Documentary Film
189 Greenwood Ave
Bethel, CT 06801
USA

The Bethel Public Library proudly presents a screening of the recently released documentary “To Be
Funny: 100 Years of Buster Keaton,” on Saturday January 5, 2019, at 2:00 pm, followed by Q&A with
the filmmakers.
Deemed one of the finest physical comedians ever to grace the screen, Buster Keaton still makes
people laugh 100 years later. Local filmmakers Jessica Roseboom and Gavin Rosenberg have
produced a film that looks at Keaton’s comic genius through interviews with cinephiles, musicians,
historians, and fans. The film also offers a glimpse into annual Keaton celebrations, as well as live
performances of original scores for some of the actor’s most beloved movies.
The film and discussion with Q&A is appropriate for young adults and adults. Parental guidance is
suggested.
Registration is required. Register online at www.bethellibrary.org, email [email protected], or
