The Elmwood Hall Senior Center, part of the Department of Elderly Services for the City of Danbury, has always had a small library located in the center’s conference room. Over the past months, Joyce Kuhn, Outreach Specialist for the department, with many volunteers, reorganized the library and put in place a new system for borrowing, sorting, and returning books. In addition, the Department of Elderly Services has partnered with the Danbury Barnes and Noble to receive advanced copy books quarterly as a donation to the center. These books will make a great addition to our library. The center would like to thank Bonnie May, Community Business Development Manager at Barnes and Noble Danbury, for her generosity in making our small library grand!
