On Tuesday, July 30th, the Elmwood Hall Quilt Society hosted ‘The Power of Fabric: A Quilt Society Showcase’, which featured over 25 quilts made by the Society of the last few months. Elmwood Hall welcomed Mayor Roberto Alves, Quilt Society members and the general public to view these incredible works of art. These quilts will all be donated to The Center for Empowerment and Education (formerly The Women’s Center of Greater Danbury) for Patricia House, their transitional shelter.
