On Wednesday, July 8, the Danbury Italian Club (Amerigo Vespucci Lodge 160) hosted a free community picnic for Elmwood Hall / Danbury Senior Center. Seniors enjoyed great food, dancing, socializing and making new friends. Mayor Boughton stopped by to thank the Italian Club for their generosity. Susan Tomanio, LCSW, the Director of Elderly Services would like to extend heartfelt thanks to Bruno Tropeano, President of the Danbury Italian Club, and all their members who worked tirelessly to make this such an outstanding day for Danbury seniors!
