On Saturday, April 27th, the Danbury Police Department will join the Drug Enforcement Administration to host a National Drug Take Back Day. From 10AM to 2PM, you’re invited to anonymously bring unused medications to police department headquarters for disposal.
The National Drug Take Back Day aims to prevent addiction and reduce overdose deaths. Medicines in the home are a leading cause of accidental poisoning and flushed or trashed medicines can end up polluting our waters.
